At the Community Spirit Foundation, we take fundraising very seriously because without it, we wouldn't be able to deliver our life-changing education programs to Indigenous students. But that doesn’t mean we don’t like to have fun at the same time! Here are some gold-coin donation fundraising ideas:
Wear red for a day
Host a morning tea
Wear a red t-shirt to school or work.
Gather some treats and have a cuppa. Invite a local Traditional Owner to do a Welcome to Country and tell you about their local history and culture.
Host a sausage sizzle
Run a quiz
Who doesn't like a sausage sizzle?
Run a gold-coin-donation sausage sizzle.
How much do you know about Indigenous culture? Dedicate some time to learning more about your local Indigenous culture.
Host a walkathon
Give something up
Get sponsored to give something up. What will it be? Chocolate? Social media? TV?
